Florida Named #1 Economy in the U.S. for Three Consecutive Years |
Florida businesses set a new benchmark in 2025, with total export sales reaching a record $78.9 billion, up 8.9% year over year and nearly 38% growth since 2018. The milestone highlights Florida’s continued economic momentum and expanding global reach.
Manufacturing played a major role, accounting for 92% of all exports, with approximately $72.2 billion in Florida-made goods shipped worldwide. Key export categories included aircraft and parts, telecommunications equipment, pharmaceuticals, and turbines, sectors closely tied to the Space Coast’s aerospace and technology presence. International trade activity also surged, with total bilateral trade through Florida’s seaports and airports hitting $205 billion. Top export markets included Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Germany, and Colombia, reflecting strong global demand for Florida based products.
Organizations like SelectFlorida continue to drive this growth by connecting local businesses to international markets, supporting small and emerging companies, and expanding opportunities across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
For the Space Coast, this growth reinforces the region’s position as a hub for aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and global commerce, supporting job creation and long term economic stability.

Brevard Zoo Expanding with New Aquarium at Port Canaveral |
Brevard Zoo is set to break ground on a major new project, a $140 million aquarium at Port Canaveral. This will be the first aquarium of its kind on the Space Coast and is designed to highlight Florida’s marine ecosystems, conservation efforts, and interactive experiences.
The facility will focus on education, research, and conservation, giving visitors a closer look at local wildlife like manatees, sea turtles, and lagoon habitats. Plans include immersive exhibits, hands-on learning opportunities, and a design that connects directly with the surrounding waterfront environment.
Construction is expected to begin soon, with the aquarium positioned as a long-term investment in tourism, education, and environmental awareness for Brevard County. Once completed, it’s anticipated to become a major attraction alongside the port’s existing cruise and recreation activity.

5 -Star Review From Our Seller
|
"We can’t say enough good things about Barbara and her team. We were dealing with a complex HOA issue that temporarily slowed the sale of our home and could have easily jeopardized the transaction, but Barbara stayed calm, sharp, and fully engaged from day one through closing.
